Makura is looking for ideas that can truly help children.

Some good ideas are born in kindergarten, others at home at the table, while playing with children, during learning, or simply by observing what children enjoy and what they may be missing.

At Makura, we make wooden toys, building sets, board games and aids for children. And because we know that the best insights often come directly from real-life experience and everyday life, we want to give space to everyone who has an idea for a meaningful toy or children’s aid.

We are not reaching out only to schools and kindergartens. Parents, grandparents, speech therapists, special education teachers, educators and everyone who spends time with children and notices their needs can also get involved.

You do not need to have a finished design or technical drawing. A simple description, idea or sketch is enough. It can be an aid that supports motor skills, speech, logic, imagination or cooperation.

We will try to turn selected ideas into a real wooden product. If a design is chosen for serial production, the author’s entire class will receive the finished product as a gift.
